Video shows enraged driver crashes through glass front window of bakery shop in Queens
The new video shows an outraged driver plows his car through the front door of a Queens bakery in what is believed to be a road rage attack, on Monday.
The video was initially obtained by The New York Post. According to the footage, the incident unfolded from a dispute between two men driving a BMW and the driver of a white Audi, which was double parked at the bakery.
The events took place at about 2 p.m. at 41-21 Kissena Boulevard in Flushing.
At one point one of the man approached Audi with a bat and strikes a vehicle. Responding to that, the pissed off driver speeds up and then runs over the man with a bat from behind before running straight to the glass window of the bakery making the pedestrians on the sidewalk flee. Some of them were reportedly left with minor injuries.
According to the police, the driver, 24-year-old Jie Zou, was charged with assault and reckless endangerment while 35-year-old Jonathan Zhangwas charged with assault.
