The Trump Organization’s tax write-offs under investigation by the Manhattan attorney's office
Donald Trump's tax investigation included suspicious proceeds involving millions of dollars in consulting fees to the Trump Organization. Ivanka Trump called the investigation a “pure and simple harassment”.
While Joe Biden and his son Hunter are involved in a criminal investigation in Ukraine, the Manhattan district attorney's office continues to seek a reason to overthrow or even imprison the current US president.
The NYT quickly picked up the news that Trump and his company had not paid some of their taxes.
“The subpoenas were in response to a New York Times investigation into President Donald Trump's tax returns that first disclosed that he took $26 million in write-offs that came from fees he paid to consultants, including an apparent $747,000 fee that the Times said matched a payment disclosed by Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump,” reports CNN.
This is harassment pure and simple. This ‘inquiry’ by NYC democrats is 100% motivated by politics, publicity and rage. They know very well that there’s nothing here and that there was no tax benefit whatsoever. These politicians are simply ruthless.https://t.co/4dQoDzQlRX— Ivanka Trump (@IvankaTrump) November 20, 2020
Donald Trump successfully hid his tax returns throughout his presidency, and only a month before election day showed his income, where it turned out that the US president was almost bankrupt.
