Teen couple arrested and charges with arson for setting Brooklyn school busses on fire
A teen couple has been charged with arson for setting five yellow Brooklyn school busses on fire in recent weeks.
Czhine Samuel and Shamell Jervey, both 18 were arrested for allegedly igniting the school busses in the domestic area, police said.
The couple is believed to make their first arson on November 1 when they torched their first bus at about 10:20 p.m. The bus at that moment was parked at Albany Ave. and Farragut Road.
Less than an hour after the duo went to set on fire the second bus which was on Avenue D near Schenectady Ave. Nearly two week after they attempted to burn don two more buses in one night.
The first bus of that arson charade was parked across from Public School 208 on 49th St. near Avenue D., and the second was set on fire when it was located on E. 45th St. near Farragut Road.
On Thursday around 10:30 p.m., they set fire to a bus two blocks from their home on E. 45th St near Avenue D, cops said.
The two, who are believed to be dating, were arrested on Saturday and were charged with arson, police said.
Their arraignments were pending in Brooklyn Criminal Court Sunday.
