Party At Illegal Bottle Club With Nearly 400 Visitors Was Busted By NYPD
A massive social distancing violation was recorded in an impromptu nightclub. NYPD has responded to numerous complaints about unauthorized drinking parties.
According to police reports, more than 393 people had fun, disregarding the orders of the mayor and governor of New York to ban public events, wearing masks and keeping their distance from each other.
4 organizers charged with offenses for penal, health, alcohol beverage control laws & arrest warrant, the police said.

Later, at the request of the owner of the neighboring bar Pig ‘N’ Whistles, the police clarified that the party was held in a different location, the bar in the post was not involved in illegal activities.

“Liquor was present and sold at the location, and the location does not have a liquor license,” Fucito told The New York Times. Four people who hosted the event were reportedly charged for violating emergency orders, in addition to other offenses. Three were subsequently released, but a fourth remained in custody for longer due to an outstanding warrant. He was released later in the day.
