Two 16-years-old Girls Dead After a Violent Car Crash in Texas
HARRIS, TEXAS — July 25, 2018
Two Texas girls died in a dramatic car crash. It happened early in the morning Wednesday. A teen driver lost control of his car and crashed into several trees.
Two 16-years-old girls were in the vehicle too. After the crash, the car was split in half. One girl was pronounced dead at the scene and another died in a hospital.
The driver was survived but was badly disfigured.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says the two girls who were killed and the driver all attended Atascocita High School near Houston.
He will face criminal charges after he gets out of the hospital.
The sheriff Gonzalez says the driver was speeding and that investigators believe he had been drinking. Authorities expect the driver will be charged with manslaughter.
"No, "I'm sorry" doesn't cut from him it because now I'm the one who's got to go tell our girls parents that we lost them," said the elder sister one of the victims.
