Capitol Invaders Were Not Trump Supporters But Disguised Antifa: Gaetz Says Citing Facial Recognition System
After the dust of fierce battles within the walls of the Capitol had settled, House Rep Matt Gaetz announced from the rostrum that some of the people who broke into the Capitol were in fact “members of the Antifa terrorist group”.
“The Washington Times is just reported some pretty compelling evidence from a facial recognition company showing that some of the people who breached the Capitol today were not Trump supporters, they were masquerading as Trump supporters and in fact were members the violent terrorist group Antifa,” Gaetz stated.
Most Reddit users disagree with Gaetz's claims. Exactly the same as the Times article, based on the comments of “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade and Laura Ingraham.
“I do not know Trump supporters that have ever demonstrated violence that I know of in a big situation,” “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade said during a Wednesday night appearance.
