About 30 BLM Activists Were Arrested at NY City Hall Park On MLK Day
The NYPD has turned the Black Lives Matter march into a carnage. A video from the scene shows how the police brutally suppressed a mass gathering in City Hall Park.
“They were really violent. Cops were pushing, shoving folks, pummeling people, tackling them,” said Helen Guzman, according to NY Daily News.
Several hundred members of the Black Lives Matter movement organized the Black Liberation March on Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Day. The procession began at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, but at some point a convoy of people met with heavily armed police officers.

At the moment it is not known who was the first to show aggression. Police say that after the protesters started throwing bottles and stones at the officers, collisions and arrests began.
It is known that 10 officers received injuries of varying severity.
