Youtube censoring Trump for the inauguration period in "concerns about the ongoing potential for violence”
In light of Joe Biden's upcoming inauguration, YouTube's anti-Trump team has announced “an additional minimum of seven days” suspension of his channel from uploading new videos or livestreams.
“In light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, the Donald J. Trump channel will be prevented from uploading new videos or livestreams for an additional minimum of seven days. As we shared previously, comments will continue to be indefinitely disabled under videos from the channel,” the company said.
In addition, all comments under Donald Trump's videos were closed indefinitely.
IT giants Google and the largest social networks have been blocking the account of the US President for two weeks. Facebook lost about $ 50 billion in market value and recovered Trump's account after a week of censorship.
Twitter does not stop and prolongs the ban, with shares of the social media falling 17 percent after Trump was blocked.
