National Park Service is investigating blackout at the Washington Monument in DC

1762

The National Park Service is investigating the blackout of the Washington Monument that happened on Sunday evening. The reason is still unknown.

The lights on the exterior of the Washington Monument went out shortly before 9 p.m. The national Park Service reported that the situation with the blackness at the monument is not related to the coronavirus due to which the Washington Monument was closed.

Despite of the power outage, the aviation light at the top of the Monument was likely on.

The Agency said that they “are investigating and will have them restored as soon as possible.”

Take it as a creepy sign of a dark and uncertain future of Joe Buden's America.
