“Yeah, you f****d up real good” Florida Deputy rescues a 13-year-old girl from a motel room where she was with the man she'd met on the internet
A Florida sheriff’s deputy saved a 13-year-old girl who was at a motel with a man she had met on the internet.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s office learned about the situation from the girl’s grandmother when the girl didn’t return from school on Thursday. Somebody at the school told the woman that her granddaughter was going to meet someone she had met on the internet at a motel.
The Deputy had to check in three motels looking for the girl before finally locating her at the third one.
Sheriff’s Deputy Royce James immediately told 22-year-old Tyler Thompson who was in the motel room with the girl to sit as soon as he entered the room. James then asked where the girl is. The girl herself instantly showed up in the room and moved toward the officer. James told the girl that he was with the sheriff’s office
She told James her stomach hurt when the deputy asked her if she was hurt.
The deputy asked Thompson multiple times how old he was.
“Yeah, you f***d up man,” the deputy tells Thompson. “How old are you,” he asks again. “If I ask you that question again, I’m going to lose my f***ing mind. How old are you?”
“I am 22,” Thompson replies.
“Oh, you f****d up,” the deputy says. “Yeah, you f****d up real good.”
James soon contacted for the backup reporting that he had found the girl and the man with her. He told somebody on the radio that the man was “too old” for the girl.
The State Attorney’s Office together with police are continuing to investigate the case.
Meanwhile, Thompson was charged with interference with child custody and traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child. He was released on $15,000 bail, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
