North Carolina K-9 officer swing the dog over his shoulder and slammed the animal into the car

A viral video in which a Salisbury K-9 officer punishes a service dog for disobedience has sparked public outrage and also launched an internal investigation against the police officer.
The 58-second video shows a dog running out of a patrol car, which infuriated the officer and he hooked the leash over the collar and threw the dog over his shoulder.
Then, he carried a few meters and hit the dog into the car. At the same time, sarcastically saying “We are good. No witnesses."
Police Chief Jerry Stokes did not disclose the names of all officers who witnessed the incident.
“When a K-9 is non-compliant with the handler’s commands, the handler is trained to correct the dog,” Chief Stokes said.

According to experts, the officer's behavior was unacceptable. Prices for training and raising a service dog can exceed more than $ 25 thousand. Also, such actions could cause injuries to the neck and spine of the dog.
