Psaki giggles over the question of closed schools for Americans and open to immigrants
The question that American children are still remotely schooled while immigrants are attending schools in border cages has sparked laughter from White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
“From an administration position or from your perspective, have the border patrol unions and the HHS unions been easier to work with than the teachers unions?” a reporter asked of Psaki.
“I think that is a bit of mixing different circumstances,” Psaki claimed in response. “One is schools are reopening. There have been 8 mitigation steps that have been announced by the CDC to implement, right?”
Neither the White House nor Joe Biden has yet clarified their two-faced policy of various privileges for illegal immigrants. Critics of the new president are at a loss as to whether coronavirus lockdowns for Americans are a way to protect them and at the same time neglect the children of immigrants, or whether they need to accustom their own people to a short leash.
