Here We Go! The First Transgender Person Can Be Crowned As Miss USA
The first transgender person can now be the first transgender winner of Miss USA pangeant.
He was born a man and then transformed into a female and she will be crowned in the biggest beauty competition for the Miss Nevada USA pageant.
Kataluna Enriquez, a biological male now will move on to the statewide competition in the pageant circuit that leads to Miss USA.
After the victory, Enriquez gave an interview to a local outlet and called the experience "a celebration of womanhood and diversity and this celebration of being your true self." She recalled that her first attempts to conquer the contest weren’t successful. When the jury of the previous competition found out that she was a transgender they asked her to provide a medical document to prove that she was female.

"I was asked to provide documents that were invasive in my opinion physically asking me to get a letter from my doctor," Enriquez said. "It brought me back to a time where I felt like I was not welcome."
The Miss Nevada USA pageant is scheduled for June, according to the report.
