Florida police arrested the creep who abducted a 12-year-old boy and sexually assaulted him before shooting him in the face
A 12-year-old boy was kidnapped, sexually assaulted and then shot in the face in South Florida on Saturday, and authorities released graphic details of the horrible incident.
It happened in the Miami suburb of Brownsville at 2:30 a.m. when the victim sneaked out of his home to have time with his friends. But instead he was abducted by a creep who forced him into a car, a black sedan and activated the car’s child locks.
The predator drove to a vacant lot and raped the boy in the backseat of the car. When the victim managed to fight back, the attacker shot him in the face and pushed out of the car, police reports say.
The wounded and blinded boy then met a bicyclist who took him to a nearest business and they could call 911.
“The young boy says he couldn’t see at the time. He had lost his sight and he was using his touch to find his way around trying to seek help,” Miami-Dade Police spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta reportedly said.
According to the police, the boy collapsed before the cops arrived. As of now, the boy is on his way to recovery. The medics say if the bullet had gone a millimeter in either direction, the boy could have died.
“He still has a long way ahead as far as his recovery is concerned,” Zabaleta said. “It’s devastating to know that this individual, not only did he have to live the traumatic incident of being sexually assaulted, but then at the same time be shot in the face.”
The monster suspect was at large for more than two days. On Tuesday police reported of the arrest of 43-year-old Aliex Santiesteban, of Miami. He was charged with sexual battery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping a child under 13 and attempted murder.
