The U.S. is flooded with blood from the shootings that occur in different parts of the country literally every day. The number of victims increase in awful progression. The one of the latest shootings took place in Washington D.C. on Friday night.

At least three were killed when a gunman opened fire during a house party on the corner of the 7th St. and Kidder St. in Wilmington. In all, seven people were shot. The condition of the wounded people are unclear.

As of now, there no many details about the shooting. However, Wilmington Police Chief Donny Williams said the unidentified shooter or two shooter fled the scene before the police responded to the call reporting of shooting.

The motive of the shooting is unknown, Williams added.

“We feel this is an isolated incident related to this party,” Williams told WECT.

The names of the victims will be released after the families are notified, The Police Chief said.

The investigation is ongoing.
