New Jersey man allegedly choked Burger King employee after dispute over face mask
A New Jersey man allegedly choked a Burger King employee after a dispute over a face mask that had happened a day before that.
David Siversten was arrested for an incident that happened on march 27, when he allegedly entered the fast food restaurant without a mask on his face. He instantly got into an argument with a female worker of the business.
Police said, Siversten returned to the restaurant the next day and started strangling the employee.
He fled the scene before the cops arrived but the officers could find him sitting in a driveway nearby and took him into custody. Police said they suspect that he was under the influence on that day.
He allegedly smashed his head against the bench when the police tried to arrest him. His victim identified him as the attacker. The woman refused from the medical treatment despite of suffering neck pain.
Siversaten was held on an aggravated assault charge at Passaic County Jail, according to NorthJersey.com.
