Another attack on an Asian woman in New York City
NYPD is looking for an unidentified suspect who attacked an Asian woman on a Brooklyn street. The assault was caught on the surveillance video.
The incident took place on Monday, at about 7:45 a.m. Monday on Kings Highway near E. 13th St. The man, described as light-skinned with a beard and mustache, wearing a grey hoodie, blue pants and black sneakers, tried to pin the victim against the storefront, yanked her hair and swung her with the fist.
The woman could break free. The assailant struck the storefront twice before fleeing the scene.
NYPD is investigating the case as a hate crime.
On Wednesday, the police released the video asking for public’s assistance in identifying and arresting the suspect.
