An elderly Asian man was attacked by an unidentified assailant in Brooklyn, New York City, in what might be the latest hate crime against the Asian people.

A 77-year-old victim was buying vegetables at the J&R NY Supermarket in Sheepshead Bay when an unknown man approached him and shoved him on the ground without saying a word.

Police released a video depicting the suspect walking down the road before the attack. The authorities are asking the public assistance in identifying the suspect and tracking him down.

He is described as bald, light-skinned, about 6-feet tall and 200 pounds. He has a goatee and was wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black sneakers.
