Biden lies about “no background checks” because Psaki states that background checks are “universal”
The reporter's question put the Biden administration's consistency into a corner. When asked about Joe Biden's comment about the lack of background checks, Psaki replied that there are no exceptions, contrary to the public statement of the US President.
“Is there a special exception in the federal law he’s talking about?” A reporter asked Psaki for Biden’s false claim that people can buy whatever they want at a gun show without a background check.
“No, it’s not his belief. He thinks the background check should be universal,” Psaki replied.

This statement by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki goes against the recent words of Joe Biden, who is using mass shootings across the country to disarm Americans.
“You go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want – no background checks,” Biden claimed.
