Columbus police release bodycam video of shooting knife wielding teen

Another death of a black teenager by an officer, again became the reason for accusations against the police. A recently published bodycam video shows a teenager with a knife attacking another girl.
The video begins when an officer gets out of the car and sees two girls fighting. Seconds later, 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant tries to stab another teenager. In an attempt to prevent the assassination attack, the officer fires four shots.
Police identified the officer who fired the shots as Nicholas Reardon, who was hired in December 2019. Information about the injuries of other participants was not released.
The first video that appeared on the network does not give a complete picture of what is happening due to the fact that the knife is not visible in the frames.
The White House continues to carry on anti-police rhetoric, calling the incident “higher rates of police violence,” without knowing the details of the incident.
