Biden delegates surveillance of Americans to private companies
The administration of US President Joe Biden is seriously considering legalizing espionage on all Americans, CNN reports. Senior officials are currently engaged in adjusting laws to transfer monitoring of social networks within the country, not excluding the surveillance of Americans outside the United States.
The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said their top priority is to prevent terrorist attacks by the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, excluding the Black Lives Matter movement and their armed thugs Antifa from the list of domestic terrorist organizations.
Joe Biden wants to “partner” with the private sector to conduct surveillance because the Govt can’t do it without a warrant or ongoing investigation.— BDW (@BryanDeanWright) May 3, 2021
This is monstrous. pic.twitter.com/pRV1XamP0d
That the US secret services secretly track their own citizens and even a foreign government was confirmed by Edward Snowden. And, although previously every US citizen had the right to challenge the illegal collection of confidential information, when authorizing private spy organizations, they do not even need a warrant.
Private companies will simply scour all social media and present your posts under their own narrative and context.
Former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows said that if Donald Trump was unable to hide from surveillance, then any less powerful American would be helpless at all.
They spied on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and skated by with no consequences... and now they want to spy on you too.— Mark Meadows (@MarkMeadows) May 3, 2021
This is a chilling, terrible idea that should be roundly rejected. https://t.co/fD1GxLDjUQ
Another curious fact is that DHS has lost the trust of both the US government and the citizens themselves, since the ideas of the service employees are not whole, which they began to fight in the highest circles.
Please remember that DHS is a *huge* organization with 240,000 employees, the vast, vast majority of whom serve this country dutifully every day.— Eric Garland (@ericgarland) April 26, 2021
Best of luck to Sec. Mayorkas in rooting out those...who have other ideas. pic.twitter.com/N5yQmjDnRZ
