FBI informants committed 23 000 crimes during Obama Presidency which is more than twice as many during Trump years
Crime statistics commissioned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation show that each year the FBI authorizes thousands of violent crimes as part of its investigations.
Data for the period from 2011 to 2018 clearly show that the total number of crimes under the auspices of the FBI and during the reign of the first black President of the United States, Barack Obama, almost reached 23 thousand cases.
FBI informant crimes by year:
2011: 5,658 crimes
2012: 5,939 crimes
2013: 5,649 crimes
2014: 5,577 crimes
2015: 5,261 crimes
2016: 381 (likely “Tier I” crimes only — see below.)
2017: 4,734 crimes
2018: 4,922 crimes
During the presidency of Donald Trump, 9,600 crimes committed by FBI informants, were recorded . There is also an error in the reports as only 381 Tier I crimes are reported in 2016.
The crimes that are overseen by the FBI and the CIA are divided into two types - "Tier I" and "Tier II". Tier I crimes include those that result in violence, significant financial loss, or corrupt acts by high-ranking public officials. The manufacturing, possession, or international trade of narcotics in excessive quantities are also Tier I crimes, reports Gizmodo.
