Virginia white man who attacked Asian restaurant owner arrested
A suspected white man who first escaped from the restaurant without paying for the order and then shoved the restaurant owner with racist insults was arrested by the Arlington police.
The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Jordan Bevan, who was homeless at the time of the crime.
Bevan has been charged with defrauding an innkeeper, along with felony assault and battery, the police says.

The incident reportedly took place last weekend. Since then, the local police have been looking for the suspect. The conflict happened in the 500 block of 23rd Street South shortly before 6 p.m. on May 4.
According to the testimony of employees at Bonsai Grill in Crystal City, Bevan ordered $ 70 worth of sushi rolls, ate them, and tried to escape without paying the bill.
A mother and son, chased after the man. The man refused to return to the restaurant, and pushed the woman to the ground after her son, Henry Kim, and started to record him.
