The woman who stole Nancy Pelosi's laptop was arrested on a tip from her "romantic partner." According to court documents, she intended to transfer the stolen device to the Russian special services.
A witness “stated that Williams intended to send the computer device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia’s foreign intelligence service,” the document says.
According to the suspect, identified as Riley June Williams, the deal fell through for unknown reasons. However, the FBI has yet to locate the computer itself or the hard drive.
