The startup Clearview AI, which illegally invaded the personal data of all users of social media and collected their photos, was hacked. According to company representatives, the breakthrough is localized, but they still do not know the extent of the stolen data.
“Security is Clearview’s top priority,” Tor Ekeland, an attorney for the company said in a statement provided to The Daily Beast. “Unfortunately, data breaches are part of life in the 21st century.
