A kennel in Georgetown, Ponderosa Pet Resort ignited at 11 p.m. Saturday when there were no people there. 75 pets were sentenced to death as they could leave their cages and enclosures on their own.
According to official information, 12 firefighters coped with the fire in a matter of minutes, but that was not enough. All the animals were suffocated even before the arrival of the rescuers.
